I want to purchase a license right now but I noticed hmp updates each year. 2009 was released in mid January so should I just wait to get it on January to catch the 2010 version? I also tried the twitter coupon but it didn't work.

The Twitter coupon is case sensitive. make sure the code word is in all CAPS. If that doesn't work, then write to staff@hide-my-ip.com and we'll provide an alternate discount for you as a Twitter follower.

If last year's policy is the same, then anyone who purchases Hide My IP 2009 within 30 days of the release of Hide My IP 2010 will receive a free software upgrade to the 2010 version.

The proper way to transfer a software/key code is to uninstall the software from the first computer; reboot that computer then install it on the 2nd computer.

There is a 3 re-install limitation in a 90 day period. If you exceed that reinstall number, write to staff@hide-my-ip.com to ask if they'll reset the code for you.
