prevents my ISP from spying on me, will there not be a challenge somewhere along the line by the all powerful music and cinema industry to have such software banned? Or will the ISPs write their own software to provide a workaround for such barriers?

I would be very interested in hearing the views of others who use this very important software.

This process will always be a cat-and-mouse game.
Someone develops a program to block or to access something and someone else develops another program to stop it.
Sort of like the "arms race". Develop a missle system; someone develops an anti-missle system; then someone develops and anti-anti-missle system.

It just never seems to stop.
