The Hide My IP software is not working as I had hoped. One of the reasons I purchased it is because I've been having trouble with a specific web site giving me a message that my IP is being rejected. I've been unable to contact the person who runs the site, so I was hoping this software would help. However, even with the software installed and running I am still getting the rejection message.

I have the software set to always use the same IP. I happened to choose one in Canada to use. Software is set to encrypt my connection. I am using the premium high speed service and have the box checked to hide my IP in Java programs (the web site I am having trouble with uses a Java chat).

I am using Internet Explorer 8 (also tried to access web site in Firefox and got same error). In the internet options menu of IE I have selected to use a proxy server

When I visit www.WhatsMyIP.org to check my IP it is showing the fake IP and not the real one.

You say you have the software set to always use the same IP. It would seem that IP is also banned. Try not using the same IP, but some different IP from another country.

It appears that you wrote to tech support and that this issue has been resolved.
