I have my paid for Hide My Mac Address installed on a Sager laptop that I use dial-up and wifi on. I would like to know the basics on how Hide My Mac Address works. Is this a program that has nothing to do with the Hide My Mac Address website or does this program once installed on my pc depend on a connection to the Hide My Mac Address website?

I notice that I am not able to make any program setting changes unless I am connected via wifi Internet.

Also I am running into a problem getting it to work. The program is displaying my correct mac address plus the spoofed mac address as the same mac address

There is a check in the box at the bottom for advanced, I click Random and a mac address number is generated in the address boxes, then I click Spoof and the generated different mac address number disappears but the new spoofed mac address is not displayed. It still shows the both mac addresses as the same original correct ones?

Hide My MAC Address has nothing to do with the website by a similar name. MAC means Media Access Control.
