1. The make and model of your computer and how old it is
2. The OS (Operating System) you have (i.e. XP Home, XP Pro, Vista, etc.)
3. Type of Internet connection (i.e. DSL, cable, satellite, dial up)
4. Are you on a router? If yes, then is your computer connected wireless or hard wired?
5. Name of browser(s) you are using and version number of each (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, etc.)
6. Name of anti-virus and fireware programs you have and how often are they updated
7. Do you have "Administrator" rights to your computer
8. Do you have any type of file sharing, tor or related software installed in your computer?
9. If "yes" to #8, what is the name of the program (or programs)
10. If you are running XP, then do you have Microsoft's NET Framework installed and if yes, what version(s)?
To find out if you have NET Framework please do the following:
- Click Control Panel
- Click add / uninstall program (or words to that effect)
- Allow the pop up window to populate & list the software that is in your computer
- When that is done, scroll down and see if "Microsoft .NET Framework" is listed
- If not, let us know
- If it is, please give us each version number listed
- Then simply "X" out of that window, don't uninstall anything at this point.
