If you have sent an email to our support email address (staff@hide-my-ip.com) and have not received a reply, then please read this post so you can prevent e-mails from Hide-My-IP from going into a bulk/spam/junk email folder:
- 1. Many e-mail programs have a built-in filter that automatically blocks messages from any sender whose e-mail address is not in the recipient's address book or Safe Sender list.
- 2.To ensure that Hide-My-IP messages arrive in your INBOX safely, please add staff@hide-my-ip.com (or @hide-my-ip.com and @hidemyip.com) to your e-mail address book or Safe Sender list.
If you're still not sure how to do that, then find your e-mail program below. Then, follow the steps provided. If you need more details on how to add e-mail addresses to your Safe Sender list, please contact your e-mail service provider.

Yahoo email is notorious for having extremely strong filters. They're known for forcing legitimate emails into the "bulk" or "spam" folder (depending upon your configuration) of your account.
If you have a Yahoo email account, and you have been waiting for an email reply from tech support, or if you have been waiting for your unlock key code to be emailed to you, then you *must* be certain to check your bulk or spam folder in order to be certain that the reply did not end up there.
If you have checked your spam file folder and the email is still not there, then all email sent to your spam folder is probably being immediately deleted and you will need to change the settings on your Yahoo spam filtering process. To change those settings, please do the following:
If your Spam folder in Yahoo is deleting email before you can see them, then please do the following:
1. Log into your Yahoo email account
2. Click Options
3. Click Mail Options
4. Click Spam (left hand side of page)
5. Click drop down menu from "Empty Spam Folder"
6. Select something other than "Immediately"

Other e-mail programs
If you do not receive your Hide-My-IP email, please check your spam or bulk e-mail folder just in case it got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the message and mark it Not Spam. This should allow future messages to get through.
If you wish to change your email address, please write to technical support and tell us the following:
1. Your unlock Key Code
2. Your previous email address
3. Your new email address
and we'll be happy to make the change for you.
