Is it true that google can plant spyware on your system with downloaded software from them like the google toolbar ,google earth ......and other software?
I visited my website (using"hide my IP" )that has an adsense account and I clicked on an ad that I was truely interested in ,yet google banned me account.
Any one has an idea to what might went on. and can google still ID the computer eventhough you are using a hide my IP software?
Thanks
I may be wrong, and if I am, someone like admin, please correct me! Unless you clear your cookies, then you can still be identified despite the fact that you're using a proxy. It's my understanding that undeleted cookies are far easier to identify a user than their IP address is.
Also, it's my understanding that nearly every toolbar you install has the potential for planting spyware on your system. I recently read an article on cnet.com that warned against installing toolbars, but the Yahoo toolbar was the one most vilified on the cnet.com article.
Also, never allow 'automatic log ins' to sites that require you to log in. That alone identifies your computer as one that has visited the site before.
If anyone else has any info I'd love to hear it.
