When I was using this yesterday , I recieved a working IP so I checked "always usesame IP". Today I opened it and it was saying it was hiding my real one ,using the same IP from yesterday, well it wasnt hiding it, Do these IPs sometimes just stop working? And which is better to use -Premium high speed , Hide My Ip Network, I only use FF 3.0 and rarely IE so do i need to enable the other known browsers >? Is it best to check ,Use random IP ? I guess what im asking here is ,By checking Use random Ips,and using the ones from all countries , I have a better chance of getting a IP that actually hides my real IP? And sometimes when the program is NOT hiding my real IP , Isnt it possible the IP that im being given isnt a working IP ? Thanks ,I hope this made some sense . Im asking these things because I know everyting is set up right , ,Oh 1 more thing ,where do check for updates on this ,thanks
It is not the IP itself that determines it is is hidden or not. That is a function of the software only, not the IP.
If you have the Premium Service, you should always use that option as we allot more bandwidth to that feaure and it gives you more IP's to select from.
Use the "Random" setting in the Premium Service if/when you can. Again, with more IP's to select from from, if you get a "slow" IP, then you have more IP's to select from that may be faster.
You should *always* have checked "Enable other known browsers".
Update "patches" and "fixes" are usually automatically sent to you by our system when you turn the program on at your computer. Otherwise, the announcements are made here at the forum.
