If you have installed and have running in your computer the following programs:
- ESET NOD32 Anti Virus or
- ESET Smart Security

They may not be compatible with Hide My IP.

However, one of our fine customers (KnightBeat40) has recommended this as the fix:
If you are using Eset Antivirus or Security Suite do the following and one will no longer loose internet connectivity.

1. Open Eset Anti-Virus / Eset Security Suite window
2. Press F5 to get to advanced settings window
3. Click Personal Firewall, Protocol Filtering.
4. Make sure Enable Application Protocol Content Filtering has a check mark
5. Just below this place a dot beside "Applications marked as Internet browser and e-mail clients" in Protocol Filtering section
6. Click Antivirus and Antispyware, Web Access Protection, Http, Web Browsers, and to put an "X" beside Internet Explorer.

After applying these settings one will have web surfing back again.

If you are using Vista's Sidebar some web apps might loose connection. Just place X's beside those too and they will work again.
