Can you pleae tell me how to change my "forum" name that is displayed on this forum? Thank you.

Near the top of your sreen click "My Controls" then click "Change Display Name" on the left hand panel.

There is no choice for "Change Display Name" under "My Controls" - help???

After you click "My Controls" you should then be taken to another page that allows you to change a variety of things in your profile and account.

On that page, on the left hand side, should be a link that says "Change Display Name".

If, after trying the above, you still do not see the link, I will check to determine why that is happening. And, you can email me with the display name you prefer to have and I'll change it for you.

I went through it yesterday 3 times - there is a whole list of items to change on the left - I opened each and every one just to see if "Change my Name" or Change my Display Name was hidden in one of the Sub menus - nothing. I can change my picture - edit everything else but not my name. So, if you can find it and change my "name" that people will see to "Hidden" I would appreciate it. It didn't occur to me that someone browsing here could see the other and might know it was me. Thanks. Just change my Display name to Hidden. Would appreciat it. But if you do, and have a change tell me how you did it. I hate to look this stupid!

Actually, it was me that made the error here , not you. I overlooked what are called "global settings" for your user group ("Members"). I believe I've adjusted the settings correctly.

Members should be able to change their dispaly name once in any 3 day period.

I think that the reason you were having a problem is because you joined yesterday and members should be able to change their dispaly name once in any 3 day period. I would wait a couple more days and then see if you change your name. If you're still having an issue, please post back.
