In regard to the 403 page, 304 page or 'why am I seeing this page'" errors, please try the following resolutions:

1. As soon as you get one of the above error codes, immediately stop surfing and check your browser settings at these locations:
For Internet Explorer:
a. Go to Tools, Internet Options, click the Connections tab, click the "LAN Settings..." button, and uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN".

For FireFox:
1. Bring up Firefox
2. Select tools
3. Select options
4. Select Advanced
5. Select Network
6. Select Settings
7. Select No Proxy (and should be the only item checked in that window)
8. Select OK on each window and exit Firefox completely
9. Re-start Firefox and the issue should be resolved.

For Opera:
a. Go to Tool, Preferences, Advanced tab, click Network, Proxy Servers, make sure there is no information anywhere and all are unchecked.

If the above settings do not need adjustment, as explained, then

2. Uninstall / Reinstall
a. Completely uninstall Hide My IP from your computer
b. Reboot your computer
c. Download / install the program from this link: http://www.hide-my-ip.com/hidemyip.exe
d. If you have an unlock code Key, make sure you enter it into the progam.

3. If you are using proxy software at the same time as you're using Hide My IP, this can create the problem. You must uninstall the other proxy software in order for it not to conflict with Hide My IP.
a. Exit from Hide My IP
b. Uninstall the other proxy software
c. Start up Hide My IP and wait for it to find an IP
d. Start browser and go to a website

4. Try using the "Proxy Field Method" for your browser.
a. Click the "Advanced Settings" button on the main Hide My IP window
b. Check the boxes Use Proxy Field Method for [Browser You Use]
c. Close out that browser
d. Then open a new web browser window

5. Turn off / on
a. "x" out of your browser
b. Make sure Hide My IP is then turned "off" (exited)
c. Start up Hide My IP and wait for it to find an IP
d. Start browser and go to a website

If the above does *not* work and you still get any of the error codes listed, then please do the following:
1. Write down each and every "fake" IP address that you are using with our software (and write down the country)
2. Please send these IP addresses to the following email address: staff/hide-my-ip.com ( / = @ )

We will attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

When Hide My IP is running, your web browser will use one of our IP addresses to access the Internet. Hide My IP must remain running to notify our servers that your computer has permission to use our IP addresses.
You may get an error page if:

- You are running a old version of Hide My IP. Please download the latest version.
- Hide My IP has expired and you are using our IP addresses without a valid license.
- You opened your web browser before Hide My IP could connect to our network.
- You are using other proxy software at the same time as Hide My IP.
- Hide My IP has been closed, please reopen Hide My IP.
- The website you are visiting has reported abuse and we have therefore suspended access at this time.
