Hello,

I spoke with Doug on Friday afternoon, about HMIP not functioning properly.
I tried the free version for about two days,& was so happy with it I purchased a license. The full version worked fine for about two days, no issues. Then something happened? Exactly what I'm not certain.

If this is Doug reading this, you'll recall I can only connect to our web based email via a proxy. Currently running Tor-proxy to write this. At no time did I run Tor & HMIP together. With HMIP, (when it's functioning) Tor isn't required.

I re-downloaded HMIP today after Doug reset it for me. I'm running Windows XP. After re-downloading HMIP, I tried launching the program.

With every attempt I'm getting the following error message:

Hide My IP 2009 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
EventType : clr20r3 P1 : hidemyip2009.exe P2 : 4.0.10.17789
P3 : 4994b58a P4 : mscorlib P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 4333ab80 P7 : 51ef
P8 : 1c P9 : system.platformnotsupported

How can I tell if I've the correct version of NetFramework to operate HMIP? After all, it worked fine for nearly a week. Please advise. Thank you. zf

The latest version of NET Framework is 3.5 ... but you're using another proxy to connect to the website. Which really complicates matters.

If the issue is not resolved, please write to staff@hide-my-ip.com and we'll try to get it fixed for you.
