NZ will be passing a law at the end of Feb that allows the ISPs to police downloading and deal out a 3 strike your disconnected policy.

My question is: Will Hide My IP be able to shield from my ISP and rapidshare or torrent downloads?

Bear in mind i do not d/l any new movies or music, but old foreign films that are free. The policing by the ISPs will not be able to distinguish between legal and illegal downloading.

Hide My IP does not currently work with Torrent networks. At some time in the future we may allow some of our IPs to be used for torrent downloading.
