im an online gamer i play 2142 with this game u can change your cd key verey easey but i have been ban from several servers and cant get back in i unpluged the modem and it changed my ip and was able to get back in some of them i use a linksys router im not so sure its hiding my ip

The software hides your IP fine. But you have to be certain that it is configured correctly; that you've deleted your cookies before returning to a web site and that the 3rd party application you're using is on our Compatibility List.
