I get the following error:

"no IPs found for requested location: defaulted to US"

when i ask for to connect to "Georgia, Atlanta".

Is something wrong with the location?

You need to review this post whenever you encounter a situation like this.

Also the same happens with any location that I select, while the search for an available IP takes over 1 minute!

Yup, that'll happen when the programmers are trying to fix, repair, maintain, upkeep or otherwise work on the servers.
