Hi,

I am interested in buying your software with premium service. However, reading posting on the forum, it is stated that your software does not support any P2P clients like bitcomet. My question is, am I able to run P2P clients directly connected to the internet while rest of other applications like MSN, ICQ and Firefox will connect through your proxy servers.

Looking forward to your response.

The question is not exactly phrased correctly, but I get the meaning.

When Hide My IP is installed, you have the ability to turn it "off" so that it will not hide your IP with your browser or with approved 3rd party applications.

If you want to use Hide My IP with your browser and/or approved 3rd party applications, simply turn "off" whatever torrent or p2p programs you have and all should work fine.

If a torrent program or p2p program conflicts with HMIP, we do not provide support to make it work nor do we provide a refund on such a basis (as that is why we have a 14 day trial).

Thank you for the reply, and sorry for the incorrect phrasing of my question.

Let me make my question more clear this way; will I have problem running HMIP to wrap my JAVA based TCP stock quotes streaming application, and my P2P Bitcomet at the same time and on the same PC. HMIP should hide the identity of the JAVA stock quotes application while Bitcomet should works as usual.

No, it probably will not work that way.

i would like to make a correction to this post.

i believe i misunderstood you're question.

if the stock program does not run inside a browser you will need to make a request that the program be added to the list of 3rd party applications, if it is not already on the list.
click the Quick reference link in my sig. for a list of approved applications and to request a new one.
Do not mention the p2p in your request, they will not be approved!

it is possible to run "most" programs that are not approved, and ip not hidden at the same time hmip is running other programs that are approved and ip is hidden.

sorry if i misguided you...
i hope this information helps you...

Thanks. It's totally clear now. rolleyes.gif
