Hello,

I've been testing the trial versions of Easy-Hide-IP and Hide My IP 2009.

When I am browsing the web with my normal IP and click Hide IP with Easy-Hide-IP, the changes take effect and I can continue browsing with the new fake IP, but with Hide My IP 2009, when I click Hide IP, I must close my browser and reopen it for the changes to take effect. Does anyone know why this is?

Hide My IP 2009 is much better than Easy-Hide-IP, except for this one small issue. Is there a way to make the IP change work in Hide My IP 2009 without having to restart my browser?

1. Never run two "hide ip" softwares in your computer at the same time. The presence of both can cause either one to react in unexpected ways.

2. Uninstall all hide ip software; reboot your computer and then re-install Hide My IP only and see how it reacts.

3. McAfee (the anti-virus & security people) had this to say about easy-hide-ip.com (a word to the wise):

"When we tested this site we found links to alienpicks.com, which we found to be a distributor of downloads some people consider adware, spyware or other potentially unwanted programs."
You'll find the above at this link: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/easy-hide-ip.com

1. I never ran them at the same time. I always quit one, when running the other.

2. My trial is expired. Will have to try again when the US servers are fixed and I buy it.

3. Thanks for the info.

That was poor wording on my part. It should have read: "Never have 2 hide ip programs installed at the same time. The presence of both can cause either to react in unexpected ways."
